All conveyance of passengers or baggage is carried out in accordance with Arctic Umiaq Line’s conditions of carriage. The conditions are shown on the cover of tickets purchased from agents, on www.aul.gl or on board ’Sarfaq Ittuk’.

Booking - tickets
Tickets can be booked with one of our agents or at www.aul.gl. Passengers with tickets without place reservations are only taken aboard if there is available space.

A place reservation is regarded as being cancelled if the ticket has not been paid at least 14 days before scheduled departure.

The passenger is entitled to break off the journey. The price of the remaining part of the journey can either be refunded or used within a month of the original date of departure. An endorsement to break off the journey must be obtained in the ship’s office.

There is a surcharge of DKK 150.00 for tickets that are issued on board Sarfaq Ittuk.

Cancellation
Tickets can be refunded provided the reservation has been cancelled before departure. However, special conditions apply with regard to package tours, so please contact the supplier of the tour.

Refunds
Unused tickets may be refunded up to one month after date of departure.

The price of the ticket can be refunded provided the journey is cancelled before departure. A charge of DKK 75 per person per stretch is deducted from each refund.

If the journey has not been cancelled, only half of the price of the ticket is refundable.

Sales charges and credit card fees are not refundable.

Baggage
The baggage allowance is limited to 30 kilos per person and may only consist of normal luggage such as suitcases, bags, duffel bags and the like.

Excess baggage will be referred to shipment as cargo at the current rates for ship’s freight.
